PEP is currently developing an intergenerational project with North Edinburgh's Youth Forum which aims to improve generational perceptions
PEP tries to ensure that every learning class has both literacy and ICT at the heart of its programmes and offers the classes in a range of venues including - in those cases where the older person is housebound - in residential or individuals' homes. Transport is available, if required, to take participants to and from their classes.
Helen Tait and Theo Hidalgo both directly provide some of the learning classes classes with Theo, in particular, supporting those who require help with literacy and numeracy. Helen's political education classes were recently commended by HMI in a report to City of Edinburgh Council on community education in North Edinburgh.
